In El Guanito, water came up this path a bucket at a time. In 2026 the village and our team captured a protected spring above the houses and let gravity carry it down — to a storage tank, then to a faucet at every home. No pumps. No electricity. Nothing that has to be imported to fix it.

A week on the mountain with a team like this one — and the compañeros standing beside them.
Volunteers work alongside Honduran compañeros all week — pipe in hand, not a camera. We capture a protected spring above the village and run it downhill to a storage tank, then to a faucet at every house. Before building anything, the community secures legal water rights. Afterward, an elected water board owns it, households pay a monthly fee, and a trained neighbor makes the repairs.
